How much does a home nurse visit cost?
Nursing visits start from ₹700 per visit, depending on the procedure, visit duration, and whether supplies are required. Share the prescription or discharge summary and we’ll confirm an exact quote before booking.
Are Doczo home nurses qualified and registered?
Yes. Home nursing is delivered by registered nurses (typically BSc/GNM qualified) who follow aseptic technique, document each visit, and work with Doczo doctor support alongside your physician’s care plan when available.
Is a doctor’s prescription required for nursing at home?
For clinical procedures such as injections, IV therapy, catheter or tube care, and prescribed wound protocols, we follow documented medical guidance. If you already have a treating physician’s prescription or discharge notes, bring those; if you need clinical support, Doczo can also connect you with our own doctor support to guide care safely.
Do you provide post-surgery nursing care at home?
Yes. We support post-operative recovery at home — wound and drain care, medication administration, vitals monitoring, and early escalation of fever, swelling, or unusual pain. Care follows your surgeon’s plan, with Doczo doctor support available when you need clinical guidance at home.
Can I book a nurse for injections or wound dressing at home?
Yes. Families commonly book one-time or recurring visits for intramuscular and subcutaneous injections, vitamin B12, antibiotics, anticoagulants, and sterile wound dressing for surgical sites, diabetic ulcers, and pressure sores.
Do you offer catheter, Ryles tube, or colostomy care at home?
Yes. Registered nurses provide Foley catheter insertion/change and care, Ryles (NG) tube support for feeding and medication, and colostomy/stoma pouch changes with skin protection — under your hospital or doctor’s plan, with Doczo doctor support available when needed.
Can I request a female or male nurse?
Yes. You can request a female or male nurse based on patient comfort and preference. We’ll match availability as closely as possible when you book.
